Trip to disneyland Paris

So me and Lauren got to Heathrow airport at 3.50 am on Friday 9th Oct(i had only 1 and half hours sleep). Our plane to Paris was at 6.40 am but was good we got there early because a lot of ppl ended up queing behind us. The flight only took 50 mins, they had bought out tea and coffee then 10 mins later they were along to take it away because we were decending. Once we arrived at Charles de Gaulle airport we made our way to the train station. Seriously it could hurt to put some english sign posts at impt places like the train station, once we managed to get our tickets and found our way to the platform(with help of course- theres no where to say scan your ticket at these random yellow things before you go down) anywho a guy was nice enough to explain where we had to stand as two trains that were going in different directions were connected together wen they got to us. Now we didnt understand our tickets at all, all we could read were the numbers but had no idea wat they represented. wen we got on the train we sat in the first seats we came to as was easier, i figured out wen i looked at my ticket again that amazingly we sat in the correct seats as they were assigned and we had no idea. 15 mins later we were at Disneyland, and after a bit of aimless walking(i wanted to take the shuttle) following Laurens directions we went back to the bus stop and caught the bus to our hotel. We were staying at Hotel Santa Fe and wen we were checking in Goofy was there meeting and greetin everyone Room was quite nice, however the tv channels were all in french apart from bbc news and the horrible disney channel with all the shows like hannah montana. unfortunately for me lauren loved them and it was always on in the room.
We made our way back to Disneyland and walked through the castle into Fantasyland where i went on the snow white ride(lauren said it was scary so she didnt go on it).. probably the most boring ride in park, you go around in a dwalf faced cart and you basically go thru the story. Then we went on the Peter Pan ride where you hang from a flying pirates ship and go thru the story. Then it was onto Dumbo. my 2nd fav ride. you in a dumbo going around but you have control over going up and down. that was fun as lauren was laughing, yelling stop it to me as i was changing it very quickly.
Then i think it was its a small world, where your in boats inside and all different countrys are represented in there own culture while its a small world was continuously playing. We headed to the Mad Hatter tea cups. they just go around while you spin the cup as well. We had some lunch then off to Alice's curious labyrinth.

We headed off to Adventureland thru the Aladdin themed area to The Pirates of the Caribbean ride which was ok. We went over to the Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril rollercoaster ride, Lauren wouldnt do it cos she said you get bad headache from it, and she was right but it was fun too. I went into the Haunted house expecting ppl 2 jump out or something, but that was tame too, just going around and theres just lotsa skeletons etc around. Next was Frontierland and Lauren fave ride- Big Thunder mountain which was fun.

During the day they have lots of parades down the main street and performances at the Central plaza, today we just saw couple parades. We had tea at Annette's in The Village, which is old skool amercian diner with rock n roll music, think happy days. during the meal some employees got up and were dancing to Greece lightening and other songs which was cool. We were really tired so we back to the hotel.

Next day was Walt Disney Studios. We went on the Flying carpets ride(aladdin)which was like dumbo but the person sitting in the back could make it go back and forth too. The Animagique was next stop was a show where donald duck (they were in costume) stole mickeys key to film vault and in there the films came to life. really liked this cos they had the dumbo theme and lion king and few more so they danced and sang to songs in those movies.
We queued up for Crushs coaster(finding Nemo) next, was the longest wait we had had- 45 mins but the ride was really fun as you're in a turtle shell 2 facing forward and 2 facing back and as you went around the coaster you got spinned around too.
Headed to queue for Studio Tram tours(ppl just push all the time, noone knows wat a line is over here) so we went around looking at backlots and sets, we got to a part where they showed us some special effects were we were at a oil mine i think and the was an earthquake(our carridge was shaking) then the truck full of oil caught on fire(you could feel the heat) then a whole lotta water came down to put it out which went everywhere- we got bit sprayed. Went past a Reign of Fire set too.
After that we went to the Armageddon special effects long story short we had 2 scream like we were on the docking station in space then we were in a room supposed to be inside the station and the asteroid pieces have hit us so theres jolting and flames and surprise water(straight in the face). We headed back to Disneyland and decided to spend our money as we and only bought our trian tickets so far (in the disneyland package for 275 pounds each incl 2 nights at hotel, 3 days in both parks, 2 bkft, 2 lunch and 2 dinner paid for so hadnt needed to spend) so i bought a white disneyland jacket, a tinkerbell pen and a dumbo toy.
We saw another parade, went on the train that goes around the park, headed to discoveryland to waste sometime before tea then on our way to frontierland for tea(where we were served really bloody steaks i asked for well done but the tequilla and lime creme brulee( i had laurens too, i couldnt taste the tequilla she could smell it so she didnt want it) ) there was a performance going on in Central Plaza where some characters were all dancing.
As everyone was eating the queue for Star Tours was only 5 mins long. its a simulator and you in a Starspeeder on the way to Endor, you go into lightspeed over shoot it get caught in asteroid field, come out to a Star destoyer, get caught in it tractor beam, we make it out but come up to the Death Star, then you follow someone who shoots into the Death Star then it blows up and final jump to lightspeed then back home.
wen we came out the Space mountain rollercoaster had been closed but they were just opening it again so i went on it as nomallt the queue is like 45-hour long. it took me 5 mins. this was my fav ride as your in the dark and theres lots of loops and spinning. the last ride of the night was Buzz Lightyear lazerblast. You are in a cart thing and kinda like lazerstrike you have to shoot all the bullseyes i wasted lauren gettin 51000 something, she got 4000 something. Next day was WD Studios to the Stunt show where they showed you how they do car stunts/ tricks which was really cool. like for scenes where someone is driving backwards in a car the car is actually made backwards so the driver(who is hiding)is in the back but driving forwards. Went back to disneyland for final ride where your in a car you ahve to drive and theres that bit in the middle so you cant drive off track but are bouncing back inforth if you suck like me. im gonna blame it on left hand side drive. we spent the rest of our money on lollies and stuff, then headed back to hotel to catch our bus to the airport. another fiasco. wen we were getting on the driver, who barely spoke english was telling us we couldnt get on something about our ticket, saying one way we like we know lauren got angry and yelled at her saying we dont understand french so stop it, eventually she called someone who spoke english-barely. basically the dumb person who sold us the tickets had ripped off the bit the bus driver needed. how do we know that?? its all disney themed it looks like a normal ticket anywho they let us on luckily. 45 mins later we at the airport then after waiting around at the airport we caught the plane at 8.40pm (7.40 pm london time). by the time i got home i was 11pm. was well worth all the money spent, was awesome. BTW the 2nd day i caught a cold but Disneyland trumped it.

These are just some randon photos
